CCJS Summer Study Abroad Trip - Interest Meeting Posted: 31 Jan 2018 11:16 AM PST Interested in learning about human trafficking while travelling to Italy? Attend an interest meeting! Date: Wednesday, February 7th Time: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Location: Lefrak Hall, room 2165E You will learn about the following trip: Human Trafficking in Context: The Vulnerabilities Associated with Being a Refugee in Italy. Over the course of two weeks, students will explore Rome, Sorrento, the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, and possibly also Capri! Students will visit the Refugee Center in Rome and work with a refugee support organization (LESS) in Sorrento. The trip will focus on understanding the challenges faced among the refugee population but will also feature cultural activities and site seeing. We promise you amazing experiences, lifelong friendships, and a new lens through which to see the world. Plus you will eat GREAT food! Please see our previous blog post for the flyer and more details about the trip. Applications are due March 1 and scholarship application are due February 15.
